COLOR & FABRIC DISCLAIMER

Marie Burgos Collection website strives to represent the colors as accurately as possible, but the colors and other characteristics you see on your screen may not be a totally accurate reproduction of the actual product. Such variations can arise due to inconsistencies of various display monitors, lighting conditions, other factors that affect color perception and dye lot variations. Screen images are intended as a guide only and should not be regarded as absolute replications of the product color and other characteristics.

Color dyes within an item may vary due to different yarns or fabric contents. Colors may vary among different production lots of the same item. Different products with the same color name may not match in color. We recommend that you request a cutting of the fabric sample prior to ordering. Samples may also vary slightly from the actual product as there can be variations among different production lots of the same item.

NATURAL STONE DISCLAIMER

Natural stones are products of nature and have unique variations in color, pattern, texture and veining. These inherent characteristics of natural stone products must be accepted. Purchasing our product implies that you acknowledge that natural stones vary in pattern, texture, and color.

MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTS

Made-to-order items begin production immediately upon order placement and are built to your specifications. As a result, the item(s) cannot be canceled, changed, returned or refunded at any time.

COM/ COL options

To our trade customers, we offer COM (customer's own material) and COL (customer’s own leather) options for our upholstered designs. For these specific orders, the production lead time starts from the time that the material arrives at the factory.

ONE-OF-A-KIND PRODUCTS

Some of Marie Burgos Collection products are artisan crafted. Given their handmade and hand-finished nature, variations are to be expected. Each item is unique and no two are exactly alike. Images on our websites and items shown in our galleries may vary from your actual piece.

SHIPPING

After placing your order a confirmation will be sent to your email. You will receive another email once your order is shipped. Products sold on our website have different production and shipping times that are specified in the tables located at the bottom of this page as well as on each product page. For all COM (customer's own material) and COL (customer’s own leather) made-to-order upholstery orders, the production lead time starts from the time that the material is received at the factory. Items ordered together may arrive in multiple boxes and arrive on different delivery dates.

Furniture and other oversized items travel via freight carriers which have extended processing and delivery times. The shipping time frame presented on each product page reflects the estimated production time before the item leaves our warehouse. Once items are in transit, they may take an additional 3-5 weeks for the item to make it to your home. After the item reaches your local area, the delivery company will contact you via phone, email or text to schedule a delivery date and time that works for you.

Items ordered together may arrive in multiple boxes and arrive on different delivery dates.

When an order is placed, it is instantly sent to our distribution warehouse for processing and shipping preparation. This means that unfortunately once an order is placed, we cannot alter or change it.

Marie Burgos Collection ships to all US territories. We are unable to ship to P.O. and A.P.O. boxes. Our shipments are arranged through FedEx, UPS, DHL and freight carriers, which require a physical address. Most carriers schedule deliveries Monday through Friday between the hours of 9-5. Rural and island deliveries have limited routes and delivery times may take longer than usual.

During the month of August and December holidays, furniture factories are closed so expect an additional 5 weeks lead time on your order.

WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY

White glove delivery is required for all furniture and other oversized deliveries to residential addresses, therefore it is automatically included at checkout. Any white glove delivery items will be grouped to be delivered on the same day.

The delivery company will contact you to arrange a delivery date and confirm the appointment timeframe. At that time please notify of any special requirements, such as the location being on a narrow road or driveway that may require a smaller truck, restricted delivery time frames, gated entry access, proof of insurance for high-rise and condominium buildings, or service elevator reservations. There may be extra charges for special delivery requirements, such as multiple flights of stairs.

Before our delivery team arrives, please prepare your home.

•  Clear the space where the item(s) will be placed prior to delivery.

•  Secure all low-hanging light fixtures.

•  Set any rugs in place.

•  Protect anything that may be susceptible to damage such as floors, furniture, or entryways.

•  Move all pets to a separate room during delivery to keep them safe.

Note that the delivery professionals are not permitted to move furniture currently in your home, nor are they allowed to move or set up electrical equipment or remove doors from hinges.

It is your responsibility to ensure that all furniture items will fit through any access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators and around corners into the desired location. If the delivery company is not able to complete the delivery process the customer will be responsible for any additional charges, including re-delivery and storage fees.

The white glove delivery service professionals will carefully unpack and inspect each item, assemble it and place it in your room of choice. All packing materials will be removed.

An authorized adult, 18 years or older, must be present during your scheduled delivery window to accept and inspect your items and sign the delivery receipt. In the event of any defect or damage noted at the time of delivery, please take photos, describe it in details on the delivery receipt and contact us right away at info@marieburgosdesign.com.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Once an order is placed, it’s instantly dispatched to our distribution warehouse where it undergoes processing and preparation for shipping. Regrettably, once an order is placed, it cannot be modified or canceled. However, after you've received your order, you have the option to return or exchange eligible items.

RETURNS

If your purchase doesn't meet your expectations, kindly get in touch with us at info@marieburgosdesign.com to return or exchange eligible item(s). Please be aware that all returns require prior authorization and must meet certain criteria. We can only accept returns for items that are in their original packaging and in like-new condition. This means no scratches, stains, damages, or modifications are allowed. Lighting products that have been installed or assembled will not be accepted. The returned products need to reach our warehouse within 30 days from the delivery date. We can provide the shipping return label. The refund will be determined based on the item's purchase price following an inspection. The shipping return costs and a 15% restocking fee will be applied to all returns. Please note that shipping and White Glove delivery charges from the initial order cannot be refunded once these services have been provided by the carriers. Any taxes charged will be refunded in accordance with state laws, and the refund will be issued via the original payment method.

We do not accept any returns or exchanges on made-to-order items, sculptures and light bulbs. Final sales are not refundable.
